?? Employee Highlight of the Month: Rebecca Hilaire ?? Meet Rebecca Hilaire, a dedicated team member at SETAR since 2018. She’s part of our Customer Experience (CX) Team, where her passion for connecting with people truly shines. ? Rebecca plays a key role in our Fiber migration project, reaching out to customers, handling administrative tasks, and scheduling technicians. She also visits customers to help them adjust their packages or optimize their services to better suit their needs. Her drive and commitment paid off last year when she topped the sales charts not once, but twice, winning our internal Incentive Program as the highest package seller. A proud achievement that reflects her love for helping others and delivering great service! ???? Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys reading, dancing, and spending quality time with her son. ???? Empowering Minds Through STEM & 3D Art! During 10 weeks, Makerpedia led an inspiring project: "Empowering Students in STEM: 3D Art Exploration", bringing together students (ages 8–14) and teachers for hands-on workshops in 3D design, printing, and artistic expression. At last night’s 3D Printing Expo, guests had the opportunity to explore the students’ imaginative creations, featuring their very own “pet monsters and sidekicks”, while teachers presented custom-made materials ready to be used in the classroom. As Aruba’s national telecommunications company, SETAR is proud to support STEM initiatives that spark creativity, innovation and learning. ?? Employee Highlight of the Month: Lynrick Croes ?? Meet Lynrick Croes, a talented Software Developer who joined SETAR in August 2023, bringing innovation to our Software Development team. ?? What does Lynrick do? He wears multiple hats! Internally, he focuses on developing our Salesforce platform, among others, digitizing business processes and automating and integrating it with different systems. Externally, he steps into the role of Data Engineer/Architect, working closely with corporate clients. Together with a SETAR team, he evaluates clients needs and crafts tailored data activation strategies, to help employees perform better and enable management to make smart, data-driven decisions. ?? Outside the office, Lynrick is a chess enthusiast who enjoys solving tactical puzzles (a skill that definitely comes in handy at work!). He also loves spending time at the beach with his family, playing soccer, and reading. ?? His life philosophy? SETAR signs contract with Aquatel for the extension of the new submarine cable CELIA to Cura?ao. After several months of intensive cooperation and in record time, the contract signing between SETAR and Aquatel took place on the sister island of Cura?ao, signed by SETAR’s Director, Mr. Roland Croes, and Aqualectra’s CFO and Acting Director, Mrs. Neysa Isenia, representing Aquatel. A historic agreement that will improve connectivity for Cura?ao. ???? This collaboration reflects the shared vision of working together for a more inclusive and digitally connected future for our islands. Aruba and Cura?ao have had a long-standing partnership in telecommunications, previously with UTS.
